Retaining Walls Repair Update

A57 Mottram Road, Hattersley

On 22nd February 2010, work took place to replace the retaining wall along Mottram Road (A57) between the New Inn Public House and where the road meets Hattersley Road West. This vital replacement work was carried out to make sure that the road remains safe for all road users.

What is happening?

The retaining wall has been completed ahead of schedule. The finished project can be seen below.

How will this affect my journey?

Traffic restrictions have now been removed and the road can be used as normal.
