Kidscape

Location: London 

Kidscape is committed to keeping children safe. They believe that protecting all children from harm is key. They work to prevent the abuse and exploitation of children and any kind of bullying including emotional, physical and cyber. Kidscape works to provide individuals and communities with practical skills to keep themselves safe and reduce the likelihood of future harm.

Kidscape believes that all children should be able to grow up in a world free from bullying and abuse, and that adults should keep children safe and help them to reach their full potential.

Kidscape works with children and young people under the age of 16, their parents/carers and those who work with them.

Kidscape offers a helpline (08451 205 204) for parents of bullied children, training, resources and publications on;

NSPCC

 

A website that has been developed by the NSPCC for any child in the UK having a bad time at school or at home, or anyone with a friend or family member who needs some help. You, a friend or family member could be feeling miserable and alone, or angry and confused and have a problem that is hard to talk over with a family or carer, a friend or a teachers. Our website is confidential and can advise you or a friend if you are having problems with bullying.

Supportline

Location: National 

We provide emotional support to children, young people and adults on any issue throughout the UK. We can refer callers to local or specialised help when needed.

We aim to work with callers to help them to take responsibility for and control their own lives and be responsible for their own choices and decisions.

We work with callers to help them to develop an inner feeling of strength and to help them to learn to value themselves in order that they can walk away from any abusive situation, and work on increasing confidence and self esteem.

We deal with a wide range of issues including:

  • Anxiety

Anti-bullying Campaign

The Anti-Bullying Campaign was founded in 1985 by Janet Perry following the tragic death of her son who had been a bully victim.

Training is given to schools as well as resource material for teachers to use in class.
