Health and Wellbeing College


The Health and Wellbeing College (part of NHS Pennine Care) Tameside Campus is now based in Ashton -Under-Lyne at 225 Old Street

Who can use the college?          

Anyone aged 18+ who lives in Tameside, Glossop, Oldham, Stockport, Bury, Heywood, Middleton, Rochdale.
A range of courses for: people wanting to improve their health and wellbeing, those with an existing health condition themselves and/or those caring for someone.

The courses are very varied topics such as confidence riding a bike, ICT, budgeting, living with pain, eating well, sleeping well,’ Make Smoking History’. Short courses of around 2 hour sessions weekly over 2 weeks- 8 weeks length.

Your organisation may be able to offer time off for your staff to allow them to attend and/or the college may be able to help their family members.
 

How to use the college:

Enrolment can be online on the website or you can call into the college open every day (especially Wednesdays 2-4pm drop in)
