A variety of courses are currently being held at the Hattersley Computer Centre, which is situated within Hattersley Library, on Hattersley Road East. The centre generally focuses on providing IT and Computer based courses, but is also currently hosting Literacy and Numeracy workshops. More courses are planned for the future and information will be added to this page when available.

Financial Literacy Course |
A 15-week course, 3 hours per week, looking at practical ways to manage your money, covering such matters as bank accounts, insurance and savings. Wednesday - 9:30am - 12:30pm (15 weeks, Starting 19 th September) |

Numeracy Workshop |

Over 50 internet café |

Further Information
There are currently a number of people working towards NVQ qualifications in computers at the centre. Free courses are available for a variety of levels.
There are 12 computers making up the main computer suite, which is opened for courses and classes. The library also has some other computers in their main room, which can be used if needed, for practice by those attending courses.
The bottom four PCs in the library next to the computer suite now have the facility to access Theory Driving Test Software. This software is also available on one of the computers in the computer centre itself.
If you are searching for jobs and claiming job seekers allowance you can use the computer facilities at the library free, as you need them. CV templates are also available.
