Trans Pennine Trail

This long distance trail for cyclists, walkers and for some of the way, horse riders, runs from Hull to Liverpool. In Tameside it runs from Broadbottom to the Apethorn Godley rail path, then through the Tameside Valley to Reddish Vale. A walkers' alternative route runs across Werneth Low.
