Supporting successful families
Children are at the very heart of what we do and we very much value our committed and passionate workforce that supports successful families and an engaged community. We were judged as inadequate in 2016, however Ofsted now recognise that we have taken the key steps to drive rapid improvement with new leadership, a new improvement plan and massively increased resources which have strengthened our teams and reduced social workers’ caseloads.  So now is the time to come and be part of making a real difference as we build on our existing strengths to accelerate the momentum of our improvement.

Why work for us?

  • Supportive teams and a great, friendly working environment
  • Flexible working opportunities
  • Social Work teams centrally located together
  • A high standard of professional supervision and a focus on supporting professional development
  • Development and implementation of the ‘Signs of Safety’ casework practice model
  • Manageable caseloads to enable reflective practice
