Guide Lane, Audenshaw
The council has successfully secured government funding to improve footways, crossings and cycle routes on Guide Lane in Audenshaw, between Scott Gate and the B6169 Shepley Road. The planned works will provide more people with the opportunity to walk, wheel or cycle for short journeys. Active travel is essential to improving health and wellbeing, reducing emissions and tackling the cost of living crisis.
The work is due to start on Monday 13 November 2023 and is due to be completed within 6 months.
