Do you have a property available for rent but are struggling to find a tenant for it?
Tameside MBC operates a scheme that could provide help for you. If the property meets the Housing Fitness Standards following an inspection, we will provide a certificate of Housing Fitness and then advertise the property for you.
The landlord can have peace of mind knowing the property has been inspected at the start of the tenancy, and that when the tenancy ends, the Council will have a record of the original condition of the property, if a dispute arises. Meanwhile the tenant can also be reassured in knowing that the Council has approved the property.
