What can I borrow?

Once you have joined, your Library card can be used at any Tameside Library. You can borrow up to 20 books for 3 weeks and return them to any Tameside Library.

If you want to keep them longer you can renew them for another 3 weeks as long as they have not been requested by anyone else. You can renew your books over the phone, over the internet or in person. If you return your books after the date they are due back you will be charged a fine, this will go up every day until you return them to the library. If you are under 18 you do not pay fines.
