Food Safety

We will:

• We will visit all food premises due for inspection throughout the year
• Respond to complaints about deficient food hygiene practices or unfit food within 3 working days.
• Provide 'Foundation Level 2 Food Hygiene' training courses at regular intervals throughout the year.
• Continue our programme of bacteriological testing of food intended for sale for human consumption. 

You can help us by:

• Co-operate with any request for information to progress an investigation.
• Be prepared to allow time to discuss the outcome and recommendations arising from a food premises inspection.

If you have had recent dealings with us and did not receive this level of service or are unhappy with the content of the above statement please let us know by using our complaints system.
