Become a Personal Assistant
Being a Personal Assistant (PA) is a rewarding and fulfilling role, where you can support someone to live a good life in the place they call home.

Be the difference
Through one-to-one support, work with people to help them live the life they want by:
- Supporting someone to get out into their community and with any activities they like to do.
- Empowering a person to develop skills, helping to promote independence.
- Encouraging and support with meals and maintaining their home.
- Supporting someone to organise and attend appointments, help people to communicate if they need it.
- Supporting a person with washing, getting dressed and whatever else makes them feel good and ready for the day.
You can become a PA for a friend or relative that you do not live with, or you can respond to someone who has advertised for the role.
If you would like to be directly employed by the person you support, they will need to make sure all HMRC and insurance needs are met, or you can be self-employed and meet these requirements yourself.
Join our PA Pool
We have developed a Pool of Personal Assistants that can be recommended to those looking to employ someone.
You will be supported to complete a one-page profile to match you with the right person.
