If you received Child Benefit for him/her then he/she will be disregarded.

Until you are no longer entitled to Child Benefit in respect of him/her.

How Long the Discount Will be Allowed
For as long as there are less than two adults in the property who are not disregarded. If there is any change in circumstances then you must notify Exchequer and Support Services. Failure to do so may result in a penalty being imposed.
