All 3 and 4-year-olds in England can get 570 hours of free early education or childcare e.g. 15 hours per week for 38 weeks.

Government childcare support is expanding, with significant changes coming to 30 hours free childcare in England and Universal Credit childcare offers in England, Scotland and Wales. Click here for more details.
Families of 3 and 4-year-olds who meet the eligibility criteria may also be entitled to an additional 570 hours of free childcare, a total of 1,140 hours e.g. 30 hours per week for 38 weeks.

Don’t delay! To ensure you receive your 30 hour code in plenty of time it is advised to apply at least a month before the final deadline:

Please remember - Once you have applied online for your 30 hours free childcare you will be required to re confirm your details regularly to HMRC to ensure you remain eligible for the entitlement.
