Community engagement
Help Shape Hattersley's future
Pride in Place is a community-led programme that puts local people at the heart of decision-making. Over the next ten years, residents, businesses, community organisations and local partners will have opportunities to help shape plans, influence priorities and guide investment in Hattersley.
We want to hear from people of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you attend an event, complete a survey or simply share an idea, your views will help shape the future of Hattersley.
Ways to get involved
Tell us what matters most to you and your community.
Your feedback will help the Pride in Place Board understand local priorities and identify where investment can make the greatest difference.

- Learn more about the programme
- Share ideas and discuss local priorities
- Find out how funding could support positive change
- Help shape future plans for the community

Upcoming events
Community drop-in sessions and events
Come along to an informal drop-in session to meet Board members, ask questions and share your views about the future of Hattersley.
Dates and locations will be announced in the coming weeks.
Community conversations
Community conversations will take place across Hattersley to gather feedback from residents, community groups and local organisations.
These sessions will help identify priorities, opportunities and ideas that can contribute to a long-term vision for the area.
What we've heard so far
Early engagement has highlighted several issues that local people care about most. These include:
• safer communities
• better roads, streets and parking
• access to health and care services
• parks, play areas and green spaces
• opportunities for young people
• stronger community connections
• promoting Hattersley and building civic pride
These priorities are not fixed. As more people get involved, we will continue to listen, learn and build a shared vision for Hattersley's future.
Working together
Community groups, schools, businesses, faith organisations and voluntary groups all have an important role to play in Pride in Place. We welcome ideas, partnerships and involvement from organisations that share our commitment to making Hattersley an even better place to live, work and visit.
If your organisation would like to get involved, please contact the team.
The future of Hattersley should be shaped by the people who know it best.
Whether you are a resident, work locally or have a strong connection to the area, we encourage you to get involved and help create a shared vision for the next ten years.
