Originally a reservoir, this popular site has become a wildlife haven for a variety of birds and animals.

Parking is along the road which is level and surfaced with tarmac. To get to the Reserve go down the 250 metre long track through the golf course. It has a maximum gradient of 1:8 for 40 metres of its length. It is surfaced with rough, partly compacted stone and there is a pram and wheelchair accessible stile at the bottom. The path then goes on a 1.5 kilometre (almost 1 mile) circuit around the site. It is level and has a compacted stone surface. It is narrow in a couple of places. There are bench seats at regular intervals around the site.
