Food banks and community pantries
Tameside has a wide range of support for people experiencing food poverty or may need support with food in some way. The document below provides a list of food banks, food projects and community cafés. The Tameside Food Partnership recognises that people may need information on what support is out there and many of these services offer more than just food, some may offer support around mental health and wellbeing, food parcels, financial advice and support, community ran groups to reduce social isolation and much more.
If you are a resident and would like to request a foodbank voucher: Please telephone: 0161 342 8355 or email: welfare@tameside.gov.uk
