Tameside Environment and Climate Change Survey Tameside Council

We are looking for your views on the environment and climate change and how this impacts Tameside. We want to hear your views on the how our local area is affected, and the steps we can take at a local level to protect our environment, including our greenspaces and natural environment.

We will use your views to develop Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council’s Climate and Environment Strategy, which will guide environmental protection locally in the coming years.

Local Plan “Homes, Spaces, Places” Tameside Council Residents, businesses, and stakeholders are being invited to have their say on the current phase of the Borough’s Local Plan, known as ‘Homes, Spaces and Places’. Gambling Policy 2026-2029 Consultation Tameside Council

Tameside Council are consulting on its Gambling Policy. The Gambling Policy provides guidance on the approach the Council, as the Licensing Authority, takes on gambling licensing matters. The Council is required to review its policy at least every three years.


The policy also sets out the council’s approaches to ensuring such businesses remain compliant with their licences and the action it will take – in partnership with other organisations and responsible authorities – when licensing and other legislation is breached.


 Before it can be adopted, we would like to hear views on the revised policy.

Comments are welcomed from anyone who may have an interest in licensed premises in the area.

Budget Consultation 2026-27 Tameside Council  The Council is preparing its budget for the next financial year and is seeking your views to help shape its plans. Tameside Council is responsible for delivering a range of services from residential and nursing care for the elderly, through to street cleaning and bin collections, spending £681 million each year. 22/12/2025 28/01/2026
Young People Not in Education, Employment, or Training Tameside Equalities Together

Are you aged between 16-24 and not in employment, education or training?

Tameside Equalities Together have developed this consultation to ask about the barriers you are facing when trying to enter or remain in education, employment or training. If you (or a young person you know) can complete this consultation you will help us understand what the current picture is in Tameside.

The survey will be completely anonymous, and take around 5-10 minutes
