Smoking damages your body in many ways. From the day-to-day effects on your heart and your breathing, to longer-term smoking-related diseases such as heart disease, cancer and stroke. Your smoke can harm your family's health, too.
No matter how long you've smoked for, quitting can help improve your health straight away.
Now is the right time to quit. Every cigarette causes you real harm and quitting smoking is healthier for you and your family.

Second Hand (passive) smoking

Passive smoking is breathing in second-hand tobacco smoke from the air. Less than 3 out of 10 adults smoke but nearly everyone at times is breathing in secondary smoke.
