Arts Award Logs

Tameside Arts and Engagement offer a full range of opportunities for Education and Lifelong Learning in Culture and the Arts within Tameside. This includes a full Arts Award offer from Discover to Gold supported by Curious Minds and Trinity College Link to External Website  through a large cohort of partner organisations and freelance artists.

Whilst much of this work is delivered in Tameside’s schools through the curriculum a wide programme is also offered through community organisations and for individual children. Tameside have developed a five year strategic plan to develop this work which has resulted in regional and national recognition.

Tameside Council Cultural Services have developed a range of Arts Award Logs at Discover and Explore levels which are available for schools, community organisations and individuals to use.

If you are interested in Arts Award then please contact the office on 0161 342 4144 (or below) and we can discuss how we can best support you and your setting.

The Arts Award Log books can be used in conjunction with visits to Tameside Museums and Galleries and our Countryside Education team. We also offer loan boxes through the Museums and Galleries service packed with objects, information and activities on a variety of subjects.

Through partners the service also offers support to early years families and a range of lifelong learning opportunities including theatrical productions, lectures, talks and workshops mostly delivered on a free of charge basis.
