Pay and display car parks are provided throughout the Borough at the following locations:

Charges
The scale of charges (including excess charges for parking in excess of permitted hours or contrary to the provisions of the Order) are as follows:-
Scale 1 Charges (Short Stay)

The class of motor vehicle for which the parking places will be available is any motor vehicle other than a goods vehicle of a maximum gross weight of more than 3.5 tonnes and public service vehicles.
Those disabled persons displaying an official disabled person's badge will be exempt from the charges and time limits contained in the proposed Order.
Those drivers displaying on their vehicles a car park pass issued by the Council will be exempt from the charges and time limitations detailed above in respect of the car park or car parks specified in the car park pass. Sackville Street No.2 former British Rail goods yard, Ashton-under-Lyne, is for permit holders only.
