What a Contract Car Park Pass is

Contract car park passes are available for pay and display car parks within the Borough. A pass can be purchased online and vehicle registration details will be added and no physical parking permit will be required to be displayed. 

How and where to use your permit :

• Ensure you have included your vehicle registration number within application 
• If you have a virtual permit you will not need to display anything in your vehicle as Civil Enforcement Officers can check that a permit is valid using your vehicle registration 
• The permit is only valid for the use of long stay car parks only within Tameside Borough  
• Vehicles must be parked correctly within the markings of the bay or space 
• Virtual Parking Permits should be validated online via your permit account for the entire time your vehicle is parked within a pay and display car park

Purchase a Contract Car Park Pass

Please contact Parking Services direct by email Parking.services@tameside.gov.uk

Please allow up to 14 days for a parking permit to be processed and distributed

Contract parking passes will be available for the use of all Tameside car parks located within the Borough with the exception of the following car parks:

The following car parks will no longer be part of the parking permit scheme as these car parks are being decommissioned from 09 June 2025:

Market Street Droylsden

Harrop Street Stalybridge
