Material relating to the history of Tameside's nine towns is centralised at Tameside Local Studies and Archives Centre.
Research and Study
Tameside Local Studies and Archives have been awarded the maximum Four Stars in the 2010 National Archives Self Assessment making it the best Archive in the North West.
