Mayor’s Procession and Civic Service
Sunday 12th July 2009
The Civic Mayor of Tameside (Councillor John B Sullivan JP, GNSM, LTCL) has arranged for a Civic Service to be held at 11am on Sunday 12th July 2009 at St Paul’s RC Church, St Paul’s Street, Hyde.
Prior to the service, a procession will assemble at 10am at Bayley Hall, Hyde Park and will depart at 10.25am proceeding to St Paul’s RC Church via Park Road, Clarendon Road, Commercial Brow, Newman Street and St Paul’s Street.
A cordial invitation is extended to any person or representatives of local organisations to attend on this occasion.
The Mayor of Tameside’s Charity Golf Day

The Civic Mayor of Tameside (Councillor John B Sullivan JP, GNSM, LTCL) is to host a Charity Golf Day to raise funds for his Charity Appeal Fund.
The event will be held at Fairfield Golf & Sailing Club, Audenshaw on Friday 2nd October 2009 from 11.30am.
The competition is a four person Stableford team event (best 2 scores to count) with a ¾ handicap allowance. There is a handicap limit of 24 for gentlemen and 28 for ladies and prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, together with prizes for the longest drive and nearest the pin on selected holes.
The entrance fee is £140 per team to include a 3 course dinner.
All teams must have four players and teams can be mixed.
The competition is open to a maximum of 19 teams, so please book your place early to avoid disappointment.
It promises to be a great day.
