Early Years Tameside Training Consortium

The EYTTC supports those that deliver or work within the Early Years Foundation Stage, particularly those from the private, voluntary and independent sector employers. Our aim is to support and develop a competent workforce helping teams meet the requirements of the relevant regulatory bodies ensuring quality delivery, benefitting children and families of Tameside.

New for 2018 – 19 – Membership Packages!

Following a general meeting the way membership is structured has been changed to support attendance and reduce cancellations.  The new annual calendar helps you to plan across the year for your staff development.  All early years providers can choose either of 2 membership packages:

Premium Membership Package – Cost £280 (+ Eventbrite booking fee)

The package can now be used for any taught courses within the programme up the value of £220 (£60 member fee contributes)

Your course options paid for within your membership fee package will be booked on your behalf, but you will also receive a password emailed to you so you can purchase additional sessions at the reduced members rate.

Early Years Practitioner Membership Package – Cost £165 (+ Eventbrite booking fee)

This package can now be used for any taught courses within the programme up to the value of £140 (£25 member fee contribution)

Your course options paid for within your membership fee package will be booked on your behalf, but you will also receive a password emailed to you so you can purchase additional sessions at the reduced members rate.
If you don’t wish to be a member, but just want to book a place on a course, email: – you’ll be emailed a link to book a place at the non-member price.

I’ve bought a membership package – how do I book my courses?

You can buy a membership package at any time throughout the year. Eventbrite will be checked every working day.  When your package purchase has been received, the next working day you’ll be emailed a simple request form, asking you to state the training dates that you want to reserve – we don’t need to have the name of the member of staff. You’ll need to email this back to  - your places will be reserved, with the forms being processed on a first come, first served basis. If your first choice isn’t available due to demand we’ll offer an alternative.
If members want to change the training dates they reserved later in the year, the administrators will try to accommodate these wishes, depending on availability – each request will be considered separately.

Short Course Administration

All short courses are available to anyone working or volunteering with children aged 0 – 5 either within Tameside or other districts, members of the consortium are eligible for lower costs.

If you are not a member of the Consortium, and just want to access a couple of courses rather than join email who’ll arrange to send a link for a non-member to book.
In the process of booking on a course or becoming a member we will receive your email address, which we will keep until January 2020 and only use it for the purpose of contacting you with development opportunities.  Your email address will not be shared.  If you would prefer your email address was not held please email:

Bookings & Cancellations

Members wanting to buy additional sessions above what is booked and paid for within their membership package can book places by clicking on the links advertised in the programme. You’ll need your members password which will have been emailed to you when you paid for your membership package. Booking and confirmation is immediate. Those sessions paid for separately to their membership package can be cancelled and refunded up to 7 days prior to the course, after which time, no refund is available.

Just £7.50 (+ Eventbrite booking fee).  There are tens of courses available when you purchase a licence - each licence holder will have access to the courses until the end of March 2020.  Each licence is linked to an individual member of staff so each member of staff undertaking e-learning will need their own licence.
When you have bought a licence / s the purchaser will receive an email giving information about how to access and set up e-learning licences. Please note this information email is not automated and will be with you within a few working days. The information email will guide you through the registration process.

Please be aware that laptops / PC’s will be needed to undertake the e-learning. Some phones / tablets do not currently have all the functionality required to run the e-learning programmes.
