Grantfinder is a tool capable of searching 4,000 grants, loans and awards available for application. Search by location, funding type and sector to find relevant sources of funding.
Features information on over 8,000 funding schemes including grants, loans and awards from local, regional and national UK government, European funding, charitable trusts and corporate sponsors.
Content ranges from modest community funds at one end of the spectrum to major, multi-level European initiatives at the other.
Advice including articles on topical funding issues and information on fund details including background, funding levels, eligibility criteria, previous successful projects, who to contact and links to application forms.

FAME
FAME is a comprehensive database of all companies in the UK.
Fame helps you find out more about companies. It contains a wide range of high quality information covering companies, news, directors and industry research.

Company Mailing Lists
Tameside Libraries Information Service can provide company mailing lists to help you with your marketing. These are compiled using the Fame database and can be tailored to your needs. Mailing lists can be supplied as a spreadsheet, by email. Please note, Mailing Lists can only include information about Limited Companies.
You can now request mailing lists online. Please fill out and submit the online form to place your request. Any information you provide will be treated confidentially.
If you are a business in the Tameside area we are currently offering your first mailing list (of up to 2000 companies) free of charge. Subsequent lists supplied to businesses in the Tameside area are charged at 1p per company.
This offer is only available to Tameside Businesses. The price to other businesses is 10p per record.
After your request has been submitted, Tameside Libraries Information Service will contact you to discuss your requirements, the charges involved (if applicable) and the delivery of your mailing list.
Please note mailing list can take up to 2 weeks to process.
EMIS
EMIS provides company, industry and economic information focusing on Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, North Africa and Latin America. It includes company reports and financial statements.

Local Data Company
Local Data Company features retail location data and insight for 2,700 UK locations covering 450 business types and thousands of companies. LDC specialise in retail, hospitality and leisure insights.
It includes market analysis, profiling, risk analysis and comparisons. Search by locality or select an area using the location map to check for footfall patterns, vacant units and obtain a local overview.

The GC Business Growth Hub aims to help businesses across Greater Manchester to realise their ambitions. They support businesses at all stages of their growth with a broad range of services.
