Food traders are required to register their interest with us for food trading opportunities.
To become a food trader you need to firstly register with TMBC Environmental Health and request a Food Hygiene and Health & Safety For Businesses pack.
All food traders are required to hold a valid Food Hygiene Certificate and may be required to have their food premises inspected for certification to trade.
Traders that prepared food off site and transport this to the Market Ground are required to adhere to the guidelines of transporting food in accordance with Schedule 4 of the Food Hygiene Regulations 2005.
