It is never too early to inspire a love of reading and start developing literacy skills, which is why we are launching Tameside Loves Reading campaign with Babies Loves Reading and giving a free book to every baby born in Tameside Hospital for the next 12 months.Tameside Loves Reading will strive to improve reading skills and wider educational achievement in children and young people to help them secure better work and life opportunities, encourage more parents, grandparents and carers to read with their children and to inspire a wider love and enthusiasm for books and reading among Tameside families.
