About Tameside Music Service

At Tameside Music Service, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to hear, learn about, and make music. We are qualified, experienced and professional music teachers and musicians from all backgrounds. Whilst our routes to teaching music are varied, all of us share the same, universal passion – to inspire and equip all music makers in Tameside in the next steps of their musical journey, whatever their circumstances.

Tameside Music Service works with around 6,000 young people and adults across the borough, in Droylsden, Denton, Hyde, Stalybridge, Ashton, Audenshaw, Dukinfield, Longdendale, and Mossley.

Tameside Arts Centre

In 2020, we moved to our new home at Tameside Arts Centre in Dukinfield.

We share the space with our colleagues in Tameside Library Service and be hope to be able to welcome and collaborate with the many other fantastic arts and cultural organisations in Tameside over the coming months and years.
