Foster Carers Handbook
Introduction and Welcome
Welcome to Tameside Fostering Service. The Fostering Team hope that you will find being a foster carer rewarding and satisfying and we look forward to working in partnership with you in looking after some of Tameside's most vulnerable children and young people.
The Foster Carer Handbook has been devised to try and answer the most frequently asked questions and help you understand some of the technicalities of becoming a foster carer. The Handbook has been designed in an alphabetical manner for ease of reference and should help you understand some of the key issues you may face during your fostering career.
